Wedding Photography in Essex |Ayla and Glen – 23rd April 2013 I received an email from a bride enquiring about my availability for her wedding at Crondon Park in Essex. Ayla and Glen were interested to know if I’d ever photographed at the venue which I hadn’t but I reassured her that new venues are very common for me. So we met up and discussed their wedding plans. Move forward a year and I’m at Potlands Park, again in Essex to photograph Ayla getting ready. I’ve been in many bridal prep rooms in my time but this was one of the best. The room was elegantly decorated with fantastic lighting flooding in. A note to all future brides, choose the room you get ready in with care, make sure it’s well lit and with enough space for everyone. It makes our job as wedding photographers that much easier 🙂 On the run up to the wedding I was a bit concerned about the weather, not that it matters for the photography but every Brides dream is a sunny day on her wedding day. In the end there was no need to worry, it was one of the warmest days of the year (not that this summer is in the slightest bit warm). It was a lovely wedding which seemed to fly by for me, so no doubt it went even quicker for the couple. Another reason why the wedding photos are so important. The amount of times I speak to Brides after their wedding day and they say how quick the day went and lots of it they’d forgotten until they see the photos. Brings the whole day back to them. On the day I was joined by Bernard Pretorius as my right hand man/second photographer/Assistant…. A massive thanks to Mr P for all his help on the day. Finally an even bigger thanks to Ayla and Glen for asking me to photograph their wedding day at Crondon Park. Here’s a few images from the day. As ever please do feel free to leave a comment on the blog, right at the bottom there’s a comment section.
