Nothing quite like a bit of adrenaline on a wedding day, a historic Central London Church (The Brompton Oratory) and one of the UK’s most iconic Wedding Photographers, no sorry I mean Hotels, The Dorchester 🙂
Rana and Naseem booked me after seeing their friends wedding photos that I took last year at St Paul’s Cathedral and Drapers Hall. That was a wedding and a half and I had high expectations for Rana and Naseems big day. You can judge a good wedding by the pain and stiff joints the next day and the next day I was as stiff as an ironing board.
For those that take the time to read my previous blogs, and not just look at the photos 😉 will know that every wedding I always have a helper with me and if the Bride and Groom request a second photographer. Having a second photographer is great for big weddings as they can be where I physically can’t be. My second photographer at Rana and Naseem’s wedding was the talented Dewan Demmer. I was very lucky to enlist the services of a great friend of mine and awesome photographer Ernie Savarese who kindly said he would help with my lights (he also took some photos). Having a team like that was great and I thank both Dewan and Ernie for all their help on the day.
I hope that Rana and Naseem had the wedding day that they had hoped and so carefully planned for. Thank you for asking me to come along with my camera and document your day as I saw it.
Finally a big thank you to Helen and her team at the Dorchester for making us so welcome at the Hotel. Delighted to be able to use the Crystal Suite and the Pavillion Suite for a few extra photos.
I hope you enjoy this small selection of photos from Rana and Naseems wedding at the Dorchester Hotel in London.
