Old Royal Naval College Weddings
Last summer I was asked to photograph a wedding in the Chapel at the Old Royal Naval College. The Chapel is in fact called the The Chapel of St Peter and St Paul and is still an active place of worship. If you have been to the Old Royal Naval College you will be familiar with the Painted Hall, which is directly opposite the Chapel. Like the Painted Hall the ceiling of the Chapel is a wonderful piece of craftsmanship, it’s absolutely stunning.
Brigitte and Paul had decided on the the Old Royal Naval college as the venue for their wedding, the chapel for the ceremony and the Queen Mary Undercroft for the reception. The Queen Mary Undercroft is the perfect setting for a wedding reception with its majestic columns, built-in bar and dancefloor, and high vaulted ceiling. The Queen Mary Undercroft is in the same building at the Chapel so makes it very convenient.
If you’re planning on getting married at the Old Royal Naval college and looking for a wedding photographer please do get in touch. I’m one of the recommended photographers at the Old Royal Naval College so you’re in safe hands.
