Hedsor House wedding
Hedsor House is a spectacular Georgian mansion on the banks of the River Thames in Buckinghamshire. But I’ve realised on my adventures as a London wedding photographer that the setting alone isn’t always enough to produce a magic day for all concerned. It sometimes takes a combination of key ingredients such as the weather, the people and the general atmosphere.
All of these different elements certainly came together for the wedding of Maninder and Anthony, which took place at the stately home, and it was my pleasure to take the pictures. The was the first time I had the privilege to photograph at Hedsor House for a wedding, and it turned out to be one of my most enjoyable assignments yet.
Because the bride and groom had chosen to get ready at the venue, I had plenty of opportunities to grab some amazing natural shots of Maninder and Anthony as they readied themselves for the big occasion. I’m glad to say that even though the time leading up to a wedding can involve some nervous moments, everyone remained calm.
The Gomes Photography team consisted of myself and Tony Boyle, and we all agreed that the location was truly something to behold. From the privacy of the gorgeous bridal suite to the grand Centre Hall and the perfectly manicured lawns outside, Hedsor House has everything you would want for both the celebration of a wedding and the ceremony, as well as those special quiet moments shared by the bride and groom, some of which I was able to capture on camera, as you can see from this gallery.
All in all I was left with the impression that the day would be remembered for a very long time by everyone present, myself included, for all the right reasons.
