I was really pleased when Claire and George contacted me back in February of 2014 to discuss to discuss their Greek wedding at St Mary’s Church in Wood Green followed by the reception at the Regency Banqueting Suites. This was my third visit to the Regency Banqueting Suites, the last time was to photograph Natalie and Matt’s wedding back in November last year. Claire and George were at the wedding so by the time of their wedding we all knew each other.
I started the day at Georges house to photograph the pre wedding Greek traditions, before going to West Lodge Hotel to meet up with Claire. The grounds of West Lodge are stunning so the plan was to head back there after the ceremony for some photos. This was all weather dependent but as the day was one of the hottest of the year then plan was going to happen.
Safe to say that the wedding was a complete success and everyone had a brilliant time. The dancing and went on to the early hours of the morning and even I joined in for a bit of dancing. It was of course wonderful to see Natalie and Matt again and Jo and Andrew whose wedding I’m shooting in July.
