I really enjoy being hired as a destination wedding photographer. Capturing moments of pure wonder – from crashing waves and starlit skies to iconic buildings steeped in history. And although I’m predominantly a London wedding photographer, I have been fortunate enough to have shot at some spectacular destination weddings.
I was delighted to be asked to be the destination wedding photographer for Stefanie and Avnish in gorgeous Malta. Some highlights from this stunning venue were the outstanding photos from landmarks including Castello Zamittello in Mgarr and the Zebbug Parish Church. The Church is a work of splendour dating back to 1632, while Castello Zamittello is a majestic castle built in the 17th Century.
This was one incredible destination wedding, and I felt one incredibly fortunate destination wedding photographer.
Nigeria may not seem like the most obvious luxury destination wedding, but it’s a hidden beauty that makes for a unique wedding experience. Nigeria is renowned as the cultural capital of Africa, and from the food to the exciting venues, it can make for a wonderful choice of wedding destination.
Switzerland brings about images of stunning natural beauty and charming old towns making for ideal wedding photography. I was honoured to be the wedding photographer for Gilyan and Dan who opted to get married in beautiful Zermatt.
While the entire wedding was special, the backdrop and picture perfect skies enabled some really superb photos to be captured. The ceremony was held in the charming Grand Hotel Zermatterhof, but before that we managed some gorgeous snaps atop the Matterhorn mountains. Hawaii surely has to rank as one of the most exciting and iconic exotic wedding destinations (certainly from a destination wedding photographer’s perspective). I was fortunate to find that out first hand when Stacey and Savas decided to hire me for their dream wedding in this beautiful location. The 12 lovely guests made this one of the most relaxed, intimate and peaceful weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure to shoot.
