A Vibrant Wedding in Camden Lock – Trendy, vibrant Camden Lock was the setting for Kim and Tom’s March wedding. It’s been a really busy start to 2014 for me with meeting clients for the 2015 wedding season and training new photographers, so it was nice to pick up the camera again and get back to shooting weddings.
I arrived early with my assistant, John Erskine, to have a look around the venue, which today was the Holiday Inn which is perfectly situated right next to the Lock. We were very early, so decided to fuel up on a full English breakfast which we hoped would see us through until dinner.
After, photographing Kim and her bridesmaids getting ready we made our way downstairs to meet up with Tom and the rest of the guests ahead of the ceremony. The ceremony room at the Holiday Inn is quite beautiful, with direct views on to the canal.
I like to think that Kim and Tom had the wedding day they had hoped for. From my perspective, as an observer, I saw lots of people having fun and the day seemed to fly by.
I’d like to thank both Kim and Tom for asking me to photograph their wedding. Also thanks to my Assistant, John Erskine, for all his help.
Hi Iain.
The photos we have received are fantastic and we could not be happier with your work. You and your colleague captured the day so well. We can’t thank you both enough for being so relaxed with us. It was almost like you wasn’t there.
You made Kim and I feel very comfortable.Thank you.
Kim & Tom.
